Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels

Some of the required duties include:

  • Effectively screens/evaluates patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
  • Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes.
  • Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the speech disorders.
  • Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
  • Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.

Outpatient Clinic Director – Therapy Services – Phoenix Mountain Post Acute – Phoenix, AZ
 
We are a leader in providing high-quality post-acute care, including outpatient therapy services. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Outpatient Clinic Director to oversee the operations of our outpatient therapy clinic at Phoenix Mountain Post Acute. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, drive clinical and operational excellence, and ensure optimal patient outcomes in an established outpatient facility.
 
Salary: $100,000 per year with a set incentive structure.

The Outpatient Clinic Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the outpatient therapy clinic at Phoenix Mountain Post Acute. In this role, you will be responsible for managing clinic operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing financial performance, and delivering exceptional patient care. This is a leadership position where you will have the autonomy to make independent decisions while guiding the clinic toward success and growth.
 
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and supervise the clinic’s staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support personnel. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, ensuring a high level of staff engagement and professional development.
Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, resource management, and daily clinic efficiency. Ensure a smooth patient experience from check-in to discharge, with a focus on service excellence.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the clinic operates in full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry guidelines related to outpatient therapy services. Stay informed of all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
Financial Oversight: Manage the clinic’s budget and financial performance. Implement cost control strategies and operational efficiencies to meet financial targets while maintaining high standards of care.
Patient Care & Experience: Uphold the clinic’s commitment to high-quality patient care, ensuring that all services are delivered in a compassionate and patient-centered manner. Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly to maintain a positive reputation.
Growth & Strategic Planning: Work closely with leadership to drive growth initiatives for the clinic, expanding service offerings, enhancing patient access, and increasing market presence in the community. Lead efforts to optimize operational performance and improve clinical outcomes.
 
Education and/or Experience:
Required: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Other Specific Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to outpatient therapy private practice and/or rehab agencies.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  • Must be knowledgeable of therapy and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to outpatient therapy services.
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult patients.
