Tempe Outpatient Rehab is looking for an experienced and passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help serve the vibrant city of Tempe! We provide a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those in assisted living, independent living, and memory care settings, as well as meeting the needs of nearby Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs).

With access to our outpatient gym and the flexibility to provide functional therapy in clients’ ALF environments, you’ll have the ability to deliver multimodal therapy that truly impacts the lives of our patients. As our team grows to meet the expanding needs of our community, we’re excited to bring on a dedicated PTA to join us!

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide multimodal therapy in our outpatient gym and clients’ ALF environments.
  • Assist in patient assessments and contribute to creating care plans that address cognitive and ADL (Activities of Daily Living) needs.
  • Implement therapy interventions using therapeutic exercises, activities, and assistive devices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including patients, families, and other providers, to ensure the best possible care.
  • Track patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes according to all guidelines.
  • Help mentor and support team members while continuing to grow professionally.
