SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – PRN
RIVER POINTE OF TRINITY HEALTHCARE & REHABILITATION – GREATER HUNTSVILLE, TX AREA
River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare and Rehabilitation located in the Greater Huntsville, TX area, is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our awesome in-house therapy team! We are a post-acute care facility offering the amazing opportunity to practice with patients across the lifespan (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics) in a setting consisting of inpatient (short-term and long-term care) and outpatient.
We are excited to announce that we have recently been awarded a grant to start our Rhythmic Abilities Care program, a quality improvement initiative focused on enhancing the lives of our residents with dementia.

Duties:
• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications:
Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
