We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

PRN: Flexible schedule with work-life balance
Pay: $45 – $56/hour based on experience

Duties:
• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications:
• Physical Therapy license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New grads are welcome!

Palm Terrace Health & Rehab in Laguna Hills, CA, is seeking a dedicated PRN SLP to join our skilled nursing facility with long term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services provided. As part of this amazing in-house team of clinicians, you will have opportunities for training and continuing education in Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care and dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory/COVID recovery programs.

  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
  • Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
  • Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Report treatment outcomes’ effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively screens/evaluates patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
