Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full Time

Montecito Outpatient – Phoenix, AZ

Montecito Outpatient is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient therapy team! This full-time position includes treating patients in both our outpatient setting and local Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) throughout the Phoenix area.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full Time, Monday–Friday
• Pay: $30–$35 per hour, based on experience
• Setting: Outpatient & Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs)
• Travel: Local travel to assigned ALF communities required

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and function
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and functional activities
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising PT and care team
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety recommendations
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Travel between outpatient and ALF locations as needed

Qualifications

• Current Arizona PTA license in good standing
• Must have completed Arizona-required supervision requirements, of onsite supervised clinical experience required for general supervision eligibility
• Previous outpatient and/or ALF experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
