Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us at The Chateau of Waco in Waco, TXWe offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our in-house rehab program!

Duties:
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
  • Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
  • Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Report treatment outcomes’ effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable
Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome!

Duties:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that address patients’ unique needs and goals
  • Implements and monitors the provision of policy and procedure 
  • Supervise staff and ensures effective staff orientation, training and ongoing competency
  • Foster a warm and supportive environment that empowers patients throughout their recovery journey.
  • Assist in scheduling and tracking of patient cases Manages and 
  • Analyze department metrics including accurate billing
  • Ensure that clinic is compliant with all regulatory issues. This includes assurance that the clinic records are completed and maintained, such as medical record documentation and reimbursement denial
  • Maintain relationships with providers and other key community members
Qualifications:
  • PT/OT/SLP license required
  • Supervisory and/or administrative experience in an Outpatient setting
  • Knowledge of billing practices to manage a variety of payors effectively
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
