Broadway by the Sea in Long Beach, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN or Part Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!
 
PRN or Part Time: Flexible schedule with work-life balance
Pay: $55 – $58/hour based on experience

Duties:
• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
 
Qualifications:
• Physical Therapy license is required.
• Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Julia Temple is a 128-bed facility home to 88 Long Term Care (LTC) residents with an additional 40 beds for patients admitting for skilled rehabilitation stays. Our therapy team is comprised of dynamic seasoned therapists as well as newly graduated therapists eager to learn and grow their clinical skills working alongside experienced mentors. We provide therapy 7 days per week with flexible schedules offered. We are well known throughout Colorado for our ability to accept and provide skilled rehabilitation for clients admitting for short stay rehabilitation who have Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia diagnoses on one of our secured skilled neighborhoods, in addition to having a second unsecured skilled neighborhood for client’s w/o cognitive deficits.
