Experience/Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (Required)
- Open to OTs of all experience levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders, creating individualized treatment plans that meet regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and standardized assessments to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and assistive device training.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to meet goals.
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate progress effectively with the healthcare team and document outcomes according to regulatory standards.
- Provide discharge summaries and recommendations for continued care.
