What You’ll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in helping patients maximize independence and quality of life by:
- Evaluating patients with cognitive, neurological, orthopedic, and ADL impairments
- Developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Providing skilled occupational therapy interventions including:
- ADL retraining
- Therapeutic exercise
- Therapeutic activities
- Functional mobility training
- Adaptive equipment instruction
- Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans to maximize outcomes
- Collaborating closely with physicians, nursing, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary rehab team
- Educating patients and caregivers for successful transitions home
- Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license (Required)
- Passion for patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Open to therapists of all experience levels
