River’s Edge Rehabilitation & Living in Emmett, ID  is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery.  We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!
 
Duties:
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
  • Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
  • Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Report treatment outcomes’ effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications:
 Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program 
Must hold current and active State license/registration where applicable

  •  Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  •  Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
  •  Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
  •  Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
Qualifications:
Physical Therapist license is required
